As a journalist, mother, and advocate for inclusion, I have always believed in the power of community and connection. When the opportunity arose to help shape what is now Every Kidz Corner, I saw a chance to create something truly special, a space that reflects compassion, creativity, and inclusion for every child and family.
Drawing inspiration from my own journey as a mom of two, I’ve experienced both the joys and challenges that come with raising children who see and experience the world differently. My son is neurodivergent and thrives in environments that honor his sensory needs and individuality. My daughter, while not neurodivergent, has grown up learning the importance of empathy, patience, and understanding differences. Through them, I have seen firsthand how inclusion benefits everyone. It teaches children to celebrate one another, to lead with kindness, and to see the beauty in every perspective.
The “Z” in Kidz is in honor of my son, Zayden. A reminder of why this space exists. It was built to help others better understand and celebrate children like him, while creating a world where every child feels valued for exactly who they are. From “Zayden’s Town” to “Sienna’s Sweet Shop,” every corner of this space was designed with love, intention, and the belief that play can be both joyful and meaningful.
Every Kidz Corner is more than a play space. It is a place for all children and families to come together, open conversations, and build understanding through shared experiences. My hope is that when families walk through our doors, they feel seen, supported, and reminded that kindness and inclusion always begins with connection.

I am a New Mexico raised, cleft affected Speech-Language Pathologist who was born with a unilateral cleft lip and palate. My journey with speech therapy began at birth, and thanks to the incredible therapists who supported me along the way, I experienced firsthand the power of compassionate, skilled care. Those early experiences inspired my lifelong mission to help others find their voice and confidence too.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education in Communication Disorders from New Mexico State University and my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Over the past decade, I have had the privilege of working with children and families across New Mexico and Texas in both public school and early intervention settings.
My areas of expertise include cleft lip and palate, feeding therapy, Autism Spectrum Disorders, medically fragile children, dyslexia, and a range of pediatric speech and language disorders. I believe therapy is most effective when it includes the whole family, when everyone feels empowered, informed, and supported in their child’s progress.
Through Adelante Contigo, I am proud to provide personalized speech therapy and executive function services in a warm, inclusive environment within Every Kidz Corner. While Every Kidz Corner is not a therapy clinic, I am honored to serve as the only licensed therapist with a dedicated therapy room inside the space, a setting designed to bridge play and therapeutic learning in a way that feels natural, supportive, and fun.
My goal is to help every child and family move adelante, forward, with confidence, compassion, and hope.

At Rustic Chic Creations, every handmade piece tells a story — one of family, creativity, and community. What began in 2020 with a single Cricut machine and a dream has grown into a family-run workshop rooted in love, hard work, and New Mexico pride.
From t-shirts and custom hats to intricate laser crafts, each product is created with care and collaboration. Dominic’s husband lends his creative touch to every design, transforming ideas into pieces that celebrate individuality and connection — a reflection of their shared passion for creativity that brings people together.
Their designs have become a staple for local families, schools, and proud sports parents, and now, Rustic Chic Creations’ inclusive merchandise will be featured inside Every Kidz Corner — a space that celebrates all children and families. Together, we’re spreading a message of kindness, inclusion, and creativity through every custom piece.
